Obesity Trends in the United States

Ok, as promised in my earlier blog, Body mass Index or BMI, here’s some information on how WE are trending in the United States. Now I was being politically correct when I said WE. I know this isn’t you, so for everyone else out there, let’s take action and do something. I wanted to do this article in a video so you don’t have to read a lot, and it’s a short video any way, so why am I continuing to type?…. Take a look!
So again, my hope for you is to share this information with your family and friends. Tell them to take nutrition and exercise seriously, or they may be on the path to a statistic on our map we just saw. Get into a great at home work out routine such as P90X, Insanity, Chalean Extreme, Slim In 6, Rev Abs, Turbo Jam or something else. If not they might just have to start using the Kathy Smith’s Project You Type 2 program that helps those fighting Diabetes.
So take action NOW!

Nice mapping of our obcession with food. I’m just as quilty as Mississippi but lucky enough not to have the weight. Just a skinny guy with hugh belly. Thanks for the wake up call. Less crispy creme and more p90x.
Wow, this is outrageous! I for one have bounced from fitness to inactivity for a very long time and need to wake up and take better care of my body. Thanks for helping me on my path!
Thanks Kathy, Life is too short for us not to take care of ourselves. Why wouldn’t we put our greatest asset in good shape so we can enjoy life that much more? Have a great night!
I have seen this data except for the past 2-3 years. Wow…we seriously have a problem. I appreciate you sharing Bill.
Hi Bill,
Thanks for sharing this information with us all.
I knew that there was an issue about this but did not realize what the nubers were actually saying.
Thanks again.
Make it a great day!
God Bless,

Wow….I am extremely obese and this was a real eye-opener! I’m not sure what next, but it had better be something!
Thanks for bringing us this important information.
Nancy
Bill,
What can I say but WOW!!! Dawn and I believe in a healthy diet ever since we started learning more about nutrition. Paul Zane Pilzer says it best. People don’t need to learn how to become better at making money until we become better at health. The main reason in my feeling for this obesity epidemic is the “Package Foods” most people eat. These major companies basically lie to the consumers just to get them to buy more crap. And most of it is just that, crap. Typically if you shop in the middle of the store you are not doing your body any favor! The “healthier” product are on the perimeter of the store. Learning good nutrition is the key though. I would recommend to anyone the is serious about changing their eating habits to read “The Perricone Promise” by Dr. Nicholas Perricone. Good Stuff!
Thanks for sharing!
